The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places legal responsibilities on both employers and employees, this act requires involvement by everyone to take care for the health and safety for persons at work. This Health and Safety Manual has been written in conjunction with a COSHH Data Base Manual and a Risk Assessment Manual. When undertaking COSHH Assessments please refer to the COSHH Manual.
